We are contracted with several major insurance carriers.  It is our expectation that you are able to provide us with a correct address, phone number, photo ID and a copy of your current insurance card at each visit if requested of you.

We currently are in-network with:
First Choice
Humana (we are no longer contracted with Humana Medicare Plans as of October 1st, 2014)
Premera (Blue Cross)
Providence Health Plan
Regence BlueShield
TriCare Certified Provider
Uniform Medical Plan
United Healthcare (We are not accepting new patients with United Healthcare Community Plan/WA Apple Health)

ESTABLISHED PATIENTS: If you recently received a letter from United Healthcare and have not already seen the email that went out from our office about this, please click here.

PRELIMINARY 2017 Washington Insurance Exchange Plans:
Premera Blue Cross
LifeWise Health Plan of Washington

*Some plans limit you to seeing Virginia Mason/UW/Swedish/etc. providers. Please remember that we are a private practice and do not fit into any of these groups.

We currently DO NOT accept new patients with United Healthcare: Community Plan of Washington.

If your insurance company is not on our list, you are welcome to call our clinic for more details of our interactions with your company. Most of the companies not on our list simply offered reimbursement that is low enough to be too risky for us to accept at this early phase in our start-up. Generally speaking, practices like Wise Patient who wish to remain independent have little market leverage when negotiating with insurance companies. That said, Wise Patient is excited about several insurance company innovations designed to reward clinics with high performance measures. We love to measure our own performance, and have designed a clinic structure that we believe will stand out among its peers.
