Allison Steele , Registered Medical Assistant
Managing Health Coach & Medical Scribe

I am originally from Denver, Colorado and graduated from Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH in with a degree in Anthropology modified with Global Health. My background and interest in medicine began in college when I was trained in outdoor emergency care as a volunteer ski patroller for the Dartmouth Skiway. A few years later, I continued to pursue my interest in emergency medicine by getting my Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification. As an aspiring physician, I am very excited to join the Wise Patient Team to learn more about healthcare delivery in such an intimate, yet dynamic, primary care setting. In my free time I like to to explore new parts of the city, go hiking and trail running and skiing, as well as tend to my honeybee hives!

Meghan was integral part of Wise Patient’s birth and growth. From helping to paint the walls of the clinic to working with thousands of our patient’s first (and subsequent!) visits, she had thankless tasks that got us to where we are today. For the next two years she will be in Poughkeepsie, NY studying to be a Physician’s Assistant at Marist College. We are incredibly grateful for the 4 years Meghan devoted to our team and are excited to see her succeed as a Physician’s Assistant in the coming years.

Hadley Gunnell
