Meghan McDevitt, Medical Assistant

I am very excited to be a part of the Wise Patient team. I graduated from the University of Washington in June 2012 with a degree in Biology. Before joining Wise Patient, I worked for Scribes STAT as a physician tutor in two area hospitals implementing electronic medical records. My certifications include phlebotomy and basic life support. Ultimately, my career goal is to become a physician assistant. I have spent my whole life in the Seattle area and have grown to love the Pacific Northwest. I like to spend my free time skiing at our local resorts, cheering for the Huskies, and running around Green Lake. I am also a volunteer for NeighborCare Health, which is a chain of medical clinics in the area that serve low-income and uninsured patients. I began volunteering at NeighborCare after traveling to Costa Rica and Nicaragua during the summer of 2011 to help set up free medical clinics for the people of Central America. Everyone deserves equal opportunity to healthcare. This trip confirmed my interest in medicine and I am excited to pursue it in Seattle with Dr. Warren.

Alicia Goodwin, Project Manager

My path to Wise Patient was very circuitous. After graduating from Seattle University with a degree in History, I lived in Los Angeles, Seoul Korea, and Tegucigalpa Honduras. I returned to Seattle in 1997 and started work for a small online bookstore called Amazon.com. I spent 6 years working as a web developer and project manager. I took some time off to travel, get married, and find a new career. I returned to school and worked as a medical assistant with the goal of becoming a physician assistant. The birth of my 2 beautiful kids changed the direction of my path once again. I care for them and help manage the business and technical needs of Wise Patient.
