My purpose

I grew up on Capitol Hill in Seattle, and while my training took me across the country, this city has always been home. After earning my undergraduate degree at Tufts University in Boston, I came back to Seattle for two years to study dementia with a research group at the University of Washington. I then returned to Boston for medical school and went on to complete my residency in internal medicine at Rush University in Chicago, where I also served as chief resident. Afterward, I joined the teaching faculty at Rush University Medical Center, practicing primary care while helping train the next generation of physicians.

I knew early on that primary care was my calling. I love managing chronic conditions and working side by side with my patients to create treatment plans we both believe in. In 2018, my family and I moved back to Seattle, and I've since practiced at both Kaiser Permanente and Virginia Mason. I'm thrilled to now be joining Wise Internal Medicine Practice, where the direct primary care model gives me the time to truly get to know each patient. My clinical interests include geriatrics, gender-affirming hormone care, menopause care, and chronic disease management. Most of all, I'm looking forward to building meaningful, long-lasting relationships with the people I care for.

Outside the clinic, you'll find me taking a cooking class, out on the golf course, or spending time with my husband and two boys.
